The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Thursday, that NAFUSA member Robert “Bob” Barr is seeking to succeed Rep. Phil Gingrey who is vacating his seat to run for the Senate. Barr served four terms in the U.S. House and served as United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia 1986-1990. He has returned to the Republican party after being the Libertarian Party nominee for president in 2008.
